As a Procter & Gamble Sales Manager for 38 years, I used this phrase to describe Doug Ducey to fellow recruiters after my initial interview, in the mid 80's, at ASU. It was an accurate description of his performance during his P&G career. When I promoted Doug to manager of Southern California, I saw an understated, over achieving, young sales manager with a healthy dissatisfaction of the status quo. P&G's "Best Ever" hire from ASU and a real loss when he opted for an entrepreneurial career in the early 90's.
